Shopgoodwill.com is the first and only internet auction site run by a nonprofit organization. Goodwill of Orange County started shopgoodwill.com in 1999 and since that time, the site has earned more than 179 million dollars to fund Goodwill’s job training and community-based programs for people with disabilities, those who lack education or work experience and others facing challenges to finding employment. The items on the site include rare and valuable art, musical instruments and other unique items.
